Using Umbel

Umbel gives you a digital card at your own handle — umbel.me/@yourname — that you can share by link, QR code or NFC tap. Creating an account means you agree to these terms.

Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.

A card belongs to whoever created it — you personally, or the team you made it under — and that ownership doesn't change while the card exists.

Your content

Whatever you put on your card — your name, your photo, your links — stays yours. You're giving us only the licence we need to host it and show it to whoever opens your card's link.

Plans and billing

Free stays free. A paid plan renews automatically for the period you chose until you cancel it, and cancelling keeps your plan running until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Fair use

Umbel is for real cards for real people. Don't use it to impersonate someone, to send anything unlawful, or to abuse the service in a way that affects other people using it.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll say so on this page and update the date above.
